Research Interests
I have a strong interest plant biology, ecology and microbiology, with a specific curiosity into plant-microbe interactions from natural ecosystems. After working on plant pathogens and beneficial plant microbiome during my Bachelor and Master degrees, I am currently working with the microbiome of the wild grass species Agrostis capillaris, sampled at the Mols Bjerge National Park in Denmark. This project aims to investigate the temporal and spatial variation of the microbial communities under different grassland management practices, over three consecutive years. Short CV 2022 - present: PhD student, Christian-Albrechts University Kiel and Max Plank Institute for Evolutionary Biology, Germany. 2022: Master thesis: “The role of host plant-associated microbes in the management of the beet cyst nematode Heterodera schachtii”, Julius Khün Institute - Institute of Epidemiology and Pathogen Diagnostic, Brunswick, Germany. 2020 - 2022: M. Sc. Plant Health Management, University of Angers, France. 2017 - 2022: Master's Degree in Engineering in Plant Systems Biology, University of Angers, France. 2020: Bachelor thesis: “Determining the trophic profile of filamentous fungi”, IRHS (Institut de Recherche en Horticulture et Semences) – Seed Fungal Deseases group (FungiSem), Angers, France. 2017 - 2020: B. Sc. in Life Sciences and Geosciences specialized in Plant Production Sciences, University of Angers, France. |
